What is Practical Mediation?
Practical meditation is a form of meditation that helps you solve daily life problems. By setting an intention or asking a question at the start of the session, you will be guided to the answer during your meditation. Some people see images, others will be hear or feel guidance and others get a combination of all 3 aspects. Either way, it will bring you to a place of understanding, clarity and relaxation no matter what type of day or week you are having. Most people say they couldn’t meditate before trying practical meditation and then after a few months, they don’t know how they did without it. Once you are used to the process of practical meditation, it can be done anywhere, your desk at work, on a bus or train, first thing in the morning or last thing at night. If you have been following the news, you will have heard that Richard Branson has just pioneered the first meditation flight from Australia .. read more about it here >> Indeed the UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill was a fan of meditation too and was quoted as saying ‘the busier he was, the more he meditated.’ He often meditated up to 6 times a day!

What do you need to learn practical meditation?
For this class, all you need is to wear comfortable clothing and a phone, tablet or laptop with an internet connection so that you can link to the meditation group online. You are welcome to sit on a chair or sofa in the comfort of your own home. If you have a meditation cushion or stool that is ok too. It is not recommended to lie down as you could fall asleep and miss the discussion afterwards. Hasn’t happened yet thankfully.
